| Job Description: |
|
- Building and managing relationship with print andelectronic media;
- Developing and designing the LUMS publications such asnewsletters, brochures, calendar, and diaries, etc;
- Maintaining data base of photographs;
- Ensuring effective internal and external communicationbetween LUMS community and the external world;
- Managing and coordinating external events at LUMS;
- Managing public relations and media relations;
- Supervising the creation and maintenance of variouswebsites;
- Preparing department budget according to the agreedplans;
- Working with IT based publishing systems and databases;
- Retrieving articles from archives and rearranging within publications;
- Overseeing the work of indexers, typesetters anddesigners;
- Marketing undergraduate and graduate academic programsthrough newspaper advertisements, on campus presentations, and onlineadvertisement etc;
- Developing promotional material such as videos,brochures, posters, and flyers etc;
- Developing a detailed prospectus on the undergraduateprogramme; and
- Implementing marketing strategy for National Outreach Programme.
