Position Summary
Our need for an Object Oriented PHP Programmer stems from our need to build out and customize our own toolsets that we use internally as well as license out to other agencies and franchise networks. Maintain and evolve custom web based software for marketing operations. Migrate legacy systems. Develop new processes/applications to support strategic initiatives. Manage QA systems and procedures for digital marketing media. developer with a proven competency in building extensible software and web systems utilizing HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and PHP/MySQL. Maintain and expanded upon our existing business systems, and adapt to changing requirements and market demands
Primary Accountabilities
•Design, develop, test and launch of web applications using PHP
•Work with internal clients to implement ideas into production code
•Perform day-to-day maintenance and execution of existing patterns
•Occasionally utilize new technology to support organization's needs
•Craft beautiful and well-documented code, follow best practices, hit deadlines,
•exercise professionalism and maintain active interest in the overall success of what
We are building
•Track and report the status of projects to various teams
•Establish realistic timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines
•Serve as technical lead and help cross-train other front-end developers in PHP
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
•Extensive Experience with PHP/MySQL
•Experience with front-end development/HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Node.js
•Direct experience conceptualizing and implementing responsive design
•Moderate to small amount of UX and design
•Experience developing in Linux-like environment.
•Ruby knowledge is a plus
•Experience on Wordpress Template Designing
Basic Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent
•combination of formal education and directly related experience is required
•At least one-to-two years of direct experience with PHP/MySQ
