Job Description:
  • Support Line Managers in forecasting and planning their workforce requirements in line with the function / business goals.
  • Identify specific training requirements & manage their delivery.
  • Develop and promote feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes
  • Communicate and educate all HR and Admin Policies and procedures to Line Managers & Employees
  • Ensure all fleet cases (vehicle issuance, fuel & other clearances) are handled in a transparent and timely manner in the light of prescribed fleet policy
  • Manage conflicts between employees and among managers & their staff and facilitate the resolution process as per policy guidelines
  • Facilitate posting / transfer cases (initiated based on business requirement and approved as per authorization matrix) by taking full ownership (end to end) of process
  • Maintain industrial harmony by engaging all concerned stakeholders as per policy parameter defined by HR Leadership
  • Proactively plan, advice and support all separating employees with their EOBI, Pension or other social security issues
  • Strengthen business relations with partners through Regular Meetings, Timely feedback on business cases and involving them in HR decision (where appropriate)
  • Develop and sign off service level agreements (SLAs) with HR Administration, HR Operation, L&OD, TM&L
  • Ensure maintenance and management of working environment in the regions & zones including but not limited to availability of furniture, drinking water & cleanliness etc.
  • Identify new opportunities where HR can add value to the business and act as a liaison between the line & HR to ensure that HR services are aligned with internal client needs
  • Help and guide the Line Managers by setting up high quality KPIs (e:g using the SMART Principle), ensuring that the KPIs are finalized with the mutual consent of the employee and his/her line manager, and there are periodic performance review meetings
  • Continuously coach/mentor people, showing unsatisfactory performance ratings and help them in improving their performance
  • Maintain an updated employee database (all financial and non-financial information)
  • Maintain an updated vehicle / fleet database along with their drivers
  • Ensure timely and error free payment of all monthly financial emoluments (pays, allowances, deductions, overtime, incentives & bonuses etc. if any)
  • Ensure all disciplinary cases are handled in a transparent and timely manner in the light of prescribed disciplinary policy
  • Ensure all housing / colonies cases are handled in a transparent and timely manner in the light of prescribed housing policy
 
Skills Required:
 
--Knowledge of principles and procedures of recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.

--Understanding HR challenges specific to the telecom industry.
