Required: A skilled Fashion Designer with skills to boot.
March is looking to hire a fashion designer with a degree and an aspiration to be the best in the craft. We seek exceptionally talented individuals with a drive to successfully deliver performance and results.
As part of your job, you would be required to:
a) study local market trends;
b) do international research of trends;
c) make design plans;
c2) do actual designing 'with technical packs' (per prescribed format);
d) execute sampling based on said plans;
e) coordinate fittings on models;
f) oversee production/finishing/washing;
g) coordinate marketing/product shoots
Incumbent will be paid fair market salary, commensurate with experience.
What we look for in candidates:
a) aspiration;
b) a bit of idealism;
c) the will the rock the world of fashion.
Though we are denim centered producers, we like to dabble in other sources of fashion as well. So if you are an out-of-box thinker with experience in other fabrics, don't worry, we'll dye you in blue within three months.
