ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Prepare bank balance summary of all company bank accounts on daily basis and report to Assistant Manager Accounts as well as Senior Manager Accounts and Finance
2) Preparing bank balances position report on daily basis and report to Chairman
3) Prepare zonal office expense summary and make all necessary arrangements for payments against approved zonal office expenses
4) Verify Purchase Order (PO), Inward Gate Pass(IGP) and Good Receipt Note (GRN) and post credit/cash purchases vouchers
5) Reconcile suppliers’ outstanding balance with company’s party ledger accounts on monthly basis and report to Assistant Manager Accounts/Sr. Manager Accounts & Finance
6) Make on time arrangements of funds for payments against imports
7) Prepare and post Bank Payment Voucher (BPV) and Journal Voucher (JV) on daily basis and get them approved from Assistant Manager Accounts/Sr. Manager Accounts & Finance
8) Prepare cheques to make payments against accounts payable and get them signed from attorneys
9) Make all payments related to MEL Karachi & M 5 Raiwind and post entries in respective books of accounts
10) Provide assistance in payments of Master Motor Corporation and Master Celeste
11) Update annual register of cash payments for both group and directors
12) Arranging cash on daily basis for petty cash till
13) Prepare income tax returns of supplies & services on monthly basis and report to Assistant Manager Accounts/Sr. Manager Accounts & Finance
14) Prepare income tax returns of employees on monthly basis and report to Assistant Manager Accounts/Sr. Manager Accounts & Finance
15) Prepare sales tax returns on monthly basis and report to Assistant Manager Accounts/Sr. Manager Accounts
16) Assist Assistant Manager Accounts/Sr. Manager Accounts & Finance in preparation of accounts for tax purposes
17) Post all adjusting entries on monthly basis under the supervision of Assistant Manager Accounts/Sr. Manager Accounts & Finance
18) Fill out deposit slips for all internal and online bank transfer – for both cash and bank
19) Prepare cases for employee loans against gratuity and coordinate with HR department
20) Prepare final settlement sheets for ex-employees and coordinate with HR department
21) Any other task assigned by the management regarding Accounts and Finance from time to time
