- The ideal candidate possesses strong software testing skills with a passion for software quality assurance
- Responsible for generating technical documents (Test Plan, Test Cases, Use Cases etc.)
- Create daily status reports for test case and defect metrics
- Take ownership of the quality of the product
- Responsible for manual and automated software testing
- Responsible for planning, designing, and implementing testing strategies and automation infrastructure
- Performs and leads teams through all types of testing such as functional, regression, system, and interface tests, etc. to achieve project goals
- Coordinate, arrange and conduct meetings with concerned development team lead for the purpose of requirement understanding or resolution of bugs
- Review bugs found and work with QA team to determine priorities for fixes.
- Strong knowledge of current quality engineering and test automation tools and processes
- Proactively engage with planning, design and development teams to promote prevention of defects early in project/development lifecycles
- In depth experience of automated testing of web based applications.
- Extensive experience in writing and executing automated testing scripts is required.
Skills and Experience: -
- Graduate in Computer Science from a reputable university
- At least 4 years solid experience of Software Quality Assurance
- Must have hands-on experience in writing SQL using relational database SQL Server
- Must have hands on experience with all QA processes
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Experience in testing responsive websites
- Experience with developing and executing automated test scripts and quality assurance test plans
- Must have strong experience with testing tools like Quick Test Pro, Load Runner, HP Quality center, JIRRA etc.
- Experience of complete steps in a software product life cycle
- Candidate has a keen analytical and structured approach to problem solving and testing
- Ability to understand complex system architectures and create an appropriate test solutions
