General objectives of the function: Assists the Country representative in the management of Context, Security and Risk analysis, development of related tools and their implementation in the mission. Supports the Country representative in administration, reporting and operational support activities of the mission. Direct Supervisor: COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVE The applicant must meet the following requirements: Qualifications: - Minimum Bachelor degree in social / political sciences, mass communication or related field
- Master degree in Social / political sciences, mass communication or related field
Experiences: - At least 3 years of MSF experience in a Security / context related supervisory position or equivalent with an INGO or other sector
- Significant experience in, and exposure to, the work in a complicated political, security and humanitarian environment
- Management experience
Knowledge and Skills - Excellent communication skills in English and Urdu
- Other Languages (in particular Pashtu and Sindhi) are added advantage
- In-depth Pakistan context knowledge
- High level of knowledge of culture and customs of Pakistan, particularly KPK and Sindh
- Pre- established professional network at the higher levels of Pakistani government and/or medical institutions
