The following JD is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. POSITION: Community Mobilizer LOCATION: Peshawar , KPK LINE MANAGER: Health & Nutrition Promotion Supervisor (If Camp) or Nutritionist Medical officer/ or substitute in his/her absence. START DATE: As soon as possible DURATION: Overall Objectives: - Support the development and implementation of a sustainable Health & Nutrition promotion programme in the targeted communities and health facilities.
- To coordinate effectively SFP/ OTP centre activities (with a focus on Breastfeeding & IYCF Education sessions) with the Outreach workers/Home visitors / Social mobilizers & LHWs Program, where applicable.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: - Identify the areas of need for Health & Nutrition promotion and education within targeted communities through contact with community representatives and assessment of knowledge and practices amongst clinics attendants.
