Be responsible for assortment reviews by category, overlooking the yearly schedule & maintain a presentation that shows the life cycle of assortment locks in line with Category roles.
Maintain a database of assortment changes in comparison to the assortment lock.
Understand the decision tree by category to be able to work closely with category managers & TGM’s on the definition for which level to define the assortment strategy.
Align the assortment strategy overview across all departments making sure that the aggregate is sustainable (ie. not too many power categories and not enough space on).
Responsible for assortment analysis and give recommendations to CM on actions.
Work on exceptional circumstances on changes that may need to occur outside of the defined schedule.Category Review Cycle – Food (Schedule).
