Job Description:
  • S/he will be responsible for the development of Key Customers base.
  • S/he will be involved in the Key Customers selection
  • S/he will be responsible for reaching Quantitative & Qualitative objectives defined in the KPIs as well as the Yearly Appraisal
  • S/he will be the interface between METRO and such Key Customer. S/he will represent the company image and s/he will be responsible for the successes as well as the failures
  • S/he will have to get a perfect knowledge of the METRO organization regarding the store operations, the buying department procedures, TGM and the logistics constraints and possibilities.
  • S/he must know the market and the main competitors that s/he will have to compete with in order to highlight our strengths and benefits
  • S/he will analyze the results (weekly, monthly and quarterly) of the Key Customers in terms of turnover, profits, loses, margin, average buying, frequency on the yearly and monthly base to make the right decisions to improve the situation if needed
  • S/he will have to plan and to organize her/his Key Customers approach in due time in order to anticipate the main events and needs
  • S/he will collect the Key Customer Demands, Expectations and Needs and then s/he will have to propose solutions and alternatives to them.
  • S/he will have to survey (deliver inputs and monitor) the market in order to know what Competitors are doing to allow METRO to react and to adapt its Strategy
  • S/he will recommend and implement a course of action
  • S/he will have to organize the follow up on a daily, weekly and monthly bases
  • S/he will have to define the customer seasonality in order to plan and propose the right METRO solution in due time
  • S/he will have to work in close contact with Buying, Logistic, Marketing, Store and the Field Operation Depts.
