· To handle and remove barriers, issues, problems, self-created, naturally created or created by any organization, for smooth operations of floating crafts with co-ordination of other departments of MEW, if required.
· To manage all technical, statutory, administrative requirements for dry docking of floating crafts with in time co-ordination of other concerned department of MEW.
· To monitor crew performance of self-propelled floating crafts e.g. technical, administrative, maintenance with the co-ordination of other departments as and when required.
· To take preventive and corrective actions regarding machinery break downs for smooth operations of floating craft and complete records to monitor, maintain validation of in time repairs and renewals of machinery.
· To co-ordinate with regulatory authorities for registrations, renewals & surveys of floating crafts.
· To coordinate /line up with technical department if required regarding operational status of self-propelled craft.
· To monitor and control all crafts’ records (daily log books, manuals and etc.) for smooth operation of projects and crafts’ operations.
· To monitor fuel consumption and monitor salary expenses for operation of craft crew.
· To take safety measures of floating crafts in company’s interest e.g. safety issues, fire issues, terrorism issues, emergency issues, emergency issues of port authorities and terrorist acts etc all the time including the craft being operational and non-operational.
· To prepare & implement SOP, rules, regulations, policy procedures with the co-ordination of other departments of MEW.
· To collect pre dredge survey report from dredging department prior to start dredging.
· To conduct site visits before submission of tender and / or singing of contract agreement.
· To monitor day to day performance independently and compare with contract agreement, prepare MIS and provide to management with professional opinion.
· To collect soil and SPT report and total quantity to be dredged from dredging department. To chalk out plan for new project in collaboration with dredging department.
· To collect maximum information of new project in collaboration with other departments.
· To manage mobilization and de mobilization of the craft for new / from executed projects.
· To obtain daily feedback from dredging department towards nature of material being dredged and status of pipeline.
To manage day to day co-ordination with client / employer regarding work performance
