Project Management

Develop project plan and maintain it throughout the project lifecycle. Manage stakeholders and keeping them informed all the time for project progress. Manage multiple projects simultaneously with different teams. Submit weekly project status reports to Line Manager and Senior Management.

Product Development

Manage the product development process from the concept phase to the post-launch phase. Facilitate the development, enhancement and maintenance of products, in-house or through 3rd party software vendors. Perform analysis and design of applications and review technical design documents provided by software development team and software development vendors. Execute projects, which cater to future state requirements for applications, technology and integration services, in a cost effective and efficient manner.

Development Team Management

Responsible for driving product development and delivery of product. Manage internal software development team and coordination with 3rd party software development vendors.

Financial Management

Understand the critical financial expectations that the project needs to deliver in revenue, profit and effective cost control. Implement disciplines and capability at all levels to ensure that these are met. Company reporting systems and financial tools need to be utilised at the project level for financial reporting protocol and timelines. Projects are monitored and reviewed with actions taken to ensure project targets are optimised.

Leadership/People Management

Leads the project team to achieve all project outcomes including the four E’s;

  • Energises: Is a visionary and knows how to drive others toward a vision.
  • Edge: Is a fierce competitor who is confident to make tough decisions
  • Executes: Consistently delivers exceptional results while understanding that activity and productivity are not the same thing

Continuously reviews the performance of employees against performance criteria, provides feedback on performance and sets goals to meet project outcomes.

Risk Management

Constantly check time variance during the project development to raise flag and take corrective actions. Managing project risks and conflicts. Exercise due diligence when selecting contractors, vendors and recruiting in-house and outsourced staff.

Skills

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in software project management and product development.

Must be self-directed and have the ability to work with minimal oversight.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to multi-task and remain productive in a service-driven and results oriented environment.

Demonstrate, analytical, and problem solving skills.
