This role will be widely varied and a broad set of skills will be needed to accomplish the necessary tasks and responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to work on various tasks within Linux administration, system building and network management within a dynamic and exciting environment. One of the first tasks will be to put in place plans for the office move and take ownership for all areas in setting up the Networking, IT Infrastructure and Desktops. You will be managing all internal networks and infrastructure, setting up desktops, to managing development databases. Virtualisation is important, so similar exposure would be beneficial. Required Skills: - Significant proven ability managing Linux servers and networks.
- Preferred Platforms: Red Hat, Cent OS.
- Proven ability in the management of Networks including LAN, DNS, DHCP, routers, Firewalls etc.
- Ideally should be familiar with basic SQL Server database functions.
- This role is also to support local staff - it's not the support of enterprise production systems.
- Ability in virtualisation is a Plus.
