| Job Description: |
|
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT projects and initiatives to support and enhance existing systems
- Provide assistance to business users in the effective use of IT systems/applications
- Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes
- Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues
- Coordinate application development for multiple projects
- Assist in managing an outsource relationship for third party system implementation and product development consultants
- Support administrators with application installation and testing
- Identify technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements
- Analyze & identify data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems databases and implement solutions
- Produce technical documentation for new and existing applications
- Participate in weekly meetings with the Business and PMO teams to discuss progress of VAS products and issues to be resolved, and report progress on a weekly basis to the CIO
- Engage in IT project steering committees and be involved in the design phase of any new IT software development projects
- Assist in the creation of the system design and functional specifications for all new development projects
- Serve as a liaison and facilitator between all business units to assist in addressing and resolving IT software issues
Essential Skills - Should possess strong Telecommunication Domain knowledge
- Should have a strong working knowledge of CRM/Middleware, Relational Databases, Web and Client-server concepts
- Should secure strong project management skills
- Should be highly proficient in MS Office Suite especially MS Excel and MS Power point , Microsoft Project
