| Job Description: |
|
Oversee implementations of various new systems/ application / database upgrade of existing systems.
Work with application & database developers to develop and implement solutions
Provide input to high level design groups/ be responsible for database planning
Optimize databases of various BSS systems
Perform database capacity planning/ oversee database migrations
Perform Oracle Server database administration duties including configuration, installation, troubleshooting database systems, data migration and data replication
Monitor database health and performance status
Create and maintain procedures and documentation for database environments
Evaluate benefits / risk of enhancements and application upgrades being considered for deployment
Evaluate, select and implement software to aid in database support tasks
Participate in design and implementation of future database environments
Oversee space utilization planning
Document all application upgrades and new implementations |
