The ideal candidate should: - Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Have3 years of relevant work experience
Job Description - Administer database in Oracle and SQL Server
- Create and maintain all databases required for development, testing, education and production usage
- Work in a Windows and Linux environment
- Conduct Oracle and operating system performance monitoring with the necessary adjustments
- Control migrations of PL/SQL programs, database changes, and reference data changes through the development life cycle
Essential Skills - Should have a sound knowledge of SQL
- Should be proficient in database administration and performance tuning of Oracle and SQL Server
- Should be familiar with backup recovery for Oracle and SQL Server databases
- Should possess strong knowledge of physical database design and data loading in Oracle/SQL Server
- Should be familiar with Linux Administration
Desirable Skills - Should have a clear understanding of database design and development
- Should be familiar with software development in Java
- Should have the ability to effectively communicate with the management, development teams, vendors, systems administrators and other related service providers
- Should be highly proficient in Windows Server and Linux OS
