| Job Description: |
|
- Ensure 99.9% up time for the fiber optic back bone network
- Ensure SLAs are met for both the O&M and R&M activities
- Approve and supervise planned activities ensuring no conflict and service outage consequently
- Ensure agreed optical link budget in all the segments of the region
- Ensure smooth provisioning of fiber links to the internal and external customers
- Maintain a diversified and three degrees protected network for redundancy maintenance contracts
- Ensure compliance of all obligations agreed in FLM contract
- Maintain spares inventory and follow up for FOO spares
- Mentor and guide team members to create substitute against each function
- Prepare0+12 OPEX+CAPEX budget heads and tailor the operational activities tofetch 10-20% saving out of agreed minimum budget lines
- Assist Regional Director North for the accomplishment of special tasks/projects assigned for the regional performance excellence
- Meet regional KPIs by liaising with the different departments of the region
- Study the regional network availability from time to time, alarm reports and T-prime trends and provide useful feedback to improve the state of affairs
