Job Description:

The ideal candidate should:

  • Hold at least Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Masters/MBA preferred
  • Have at least 6-10 years of relevant work experience

Job Description

  • Manage a team of 4 to 5 Engineers
  • Ensure timely submission of Network Performance reports
  • Conduct Network Performance KPI Analysis through statistical/trend analysis of multiple vendors KPIs/counters
  • Standardize KPIs in multi-vendor / multi-technology (2G/3G) environment
  • Propose realistic targets for KPIs & get buy-in of all stake holders
  • Take innovative measures to diagnose performance issues in the network at macro level & engage relevant teams for taking improvement measures
  • Carry out quarterly network audit of KPIs & database counters
  • Coordinate with various technical teams for engaging them on Network Performance Issues

Essential Skills

  • Should possess strong knowledge of RF engineering principles and network monitoring counters, KPIs & ITU-T QoS standards for mobile communications
  • Should have good knowledge of tools like MapInfo, TEMS/NEMO/QVoice and various performance management tools
  • Should possess good management and coordination skills
  • Should be familiar with the working of multiple endors (Huawei, Alcatel, NSN, ZTE)

  • Should be able to work independently and under pressure with little supervision
  • Should be able to maintain follow-up and meets deadlines
  • Should possess strong communication & presentation skills
  • Should have good interpersonal skills and be a strong team player
  • Should be flexible and adaptable to changing requirements and procedures
  • Should be highly proficient in Microsoft Office especially MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project
