Manager RAN Planning

The ideal candidate should

• Hold a BS or preferably an MS in Electronic/Telecom/ Electrical Engineering
• Have a minimum of 8 years of related experience

Job Description

• Monitor overall RAN planning process, checks and verifications
• Process engineering and workflow development/improvement for RAN planning
• Enhance the RAN databases to help improve the day today planning/optimization
• Prepare Ordering Details for RAN part and other engineering cellular infrastructure
• Prepare vendor performance management, RFQ evaluations and design criterion verifications
• Architect the RAN traffic capacity design, Coverage design and Inventory management/ control
• Implement the RAN strategy, oversee technology evolution and provide studies to tailor the evolution
• Oversee introduction of latest cellular technologies (3G/4G), implement best practices and develop planning and optimization processes

• Should exhibit relevant knowledge of Wireless communication
• Should have relevant experience of 2G/3G planning and optimization
• Should have sound knowledge of RAN product life cycle, market trends and roadmaps
• Should have excellent knowledge of MS Office, Planning (AirCom Asset Mentum Planet), DT (TEMS/Nemo) and optimization tools

• Should have sound knowledge of RAN Planning Process
• Should exhibit sound knowledge of Traffic Management and Forecasting
• Should have relevant knowledge of coverage planning and Enhancement
• Should exhibit relevant knowledge of Process flow for typical RAN Design Area
