|
The ideal candidate should - Hold a Bachelors or a Masters degree in Telecommunication
- Have a minimum of 6-7 years of overall experience and at least 2-3 years experience in Revenue Assurance department or experience in Technical department with regard to network and IN platforms
Job Description - Manage and ensure traffic Assurance in the areas of Postpaid, Prepaid, International roaming, VAS and Data services. Ensure platforms integrity
- Manage usage and recharges Assurance in prepaid segment
- Manage Subscription Assurance in the areas of postpaid, prepaid and data services
- Review of RA activities, company-wide processes and procedure
- Provide suggestions for improvement and ensuring implementations, taking management in confidence
- Detect all anomalies and issues, adopting preemptive approach
- Follow-up with respective department to ensure that anomalies are fixed in timely manner
- Coordinate with internal teams for getting the jobs done smoothly
- Ensure risk assessment of every product and address the possible impact on RA KPIs / Systems. Address and mitigate all risks in timely manner
- Ensure provision of daily/monthly dashboard reporting through BI Tool for management
- Implementation of new source in Revenue Assurance system and fine tuning on regular basis for existing RA controls. Ensure transfer of all activities / reconciliations to BI Tool through a smooth transition process
- Ensure smooth performance of the team and align their work with department targets and company's goals
- Deploy test call generator (ACG) and implementation of new sources in revenue assurance system
- Escalate issues and report abnormal situation to management and respective departments for resolution/investigation
- Ensure thorough investigation before raising any alert/alarms to other departments
- Identify the gaps which hamper RA KPIs
Essential Skills - Should possess sound knowledge of key risk areas that can hamper revenue/cost in term of losses
- Should be able to review end to end process and identify the gaps and have the ability to evolve strategy for risk mitigation and avoid revenue losses
- Should have good knowledge of revenue assurance tools and systems
- Should be able to develop and implement RA preventive/detective control framework
- Should have good knowledge of B.I. Tool and able to automate the reconciliation activities
- Should have cross functional exposure of the staff and preparation of backups for every activity
- Should possess strong Interpersonal skills to build and maintain relations with other departments
- Should have the ability to influence people without getting into conflict situations
- Should have the ability to impact the company at the highest levels/ gain buy-in from top management
- Should secure good time management, analytical and report writing skills
- Should be independent and self driven with strong communication and presentation skills
- Should have good understanding of telecommunication network architecture
Desirable Skills - Should possess advance level computer skills in SQL and Oracle DB
- Should be an effective team player with sound interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Should have sound co-ordination and follow up skills
- Should have the ability to meet deadlines under pressure working conditions on continuing basis
- Should be proficient in operating MS Office suite, an advance level
