|
The ideal candidate should - Hold an ACCA qualification or should be a CA finalist
- Have at least 3 years of minimum work experience with a reputable chartered accountant firm
Job Description - Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly/ annual financial statements
- Work with the external auditors throughout the audit process including answering all inquiries in a timely manner and overseeing timely provision of all schedules requested by the auditors
- Prepare audit file on monthly basis
- Maintain supporting schedules for various account codes of the Trial Balance
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of journal entries to ensure all financial reporting properly reflects such accruals and adjustments
- Liaise and interact with different departments to gather information for accounting and reporting
- Report to parent company on Hyperion reporting module
Essential Skills - Should possess knowledge of IFRS and Companies Ordinance 1984
- Should be familiar with the preparation of the Financial Statements as compliant with IFRS
- Should possess relevant knowledge/ experience of US GAAP
- Should be able to work under pressure and meet strict reporting deadlines
- Should have strong communication, inter-personal and analytical skills
Desirable Skills - Should be a motivated team player
- Should be highly proficient in MS Office
- Should be proficient in English language
