Job Description:

The ideal candidate should

  • Hold an MBA Degree; Certification in Logistics will be preferred
  • Have 5 – 7 years of work experience in Procurement, Logistics and/or Management

Job Description

  • Manage Air Lines & Shipping Lines for smooth sailing of import & Export Consignments.
  • Analyze data to monitor performance and plan improvements in respect to Forwarding and clearance.
  • Coordinate with forwarders & clearing agents.
  • Check & verify the HS CODE according to items.
  • Monitor all incoming shipments from different suppliers within given timelines.
  • Maintain all the shipment status reports with different sectors.
  • Maintain the record of all shipments under custom clearance & delivery to warehouses.
  • Review Vendors invoices for accuracy in given timelines and further to submission
  • Logistics section report on monthly/Quarterly for management

Essential Skills

  • Should secure sound interpersonal & communication skills
  • Should possess good analytical skills
  • Should have excellent report writing skills
  • Should be highly proficient in operating MS Office suite

Desirable Skills

  • Should have the knowledge of Incoterms, Custom HS Codes, Freight Forwarding and custom clearance processes
