|
The ideal candidate should - Hold an MBA Degree; Certification in Logistics will be preferred
- Have 5 7 years of work experience in Procurement, Logistics and/or Management
Job Description - Manage Air Lines & Shipping Lines for smooth sailing of import & Export Consignments.
- Analyze data to monitor performance and plan improvements in respect to Forwarding and clearance.
- Coordinate with forwarders & clearing agents.
- Check & verify the HS CODE according to items.
- Monitor all incoming shipments from different suppliers within given timelines.
- Maintain all the shipment status reports with different sectors.
- Maintain the record of all shipments under custom clearance & delivery to warehouses.
- Review Vendors invoices for accuracy in given timelines and further to submission
- Logistics section report on monthly/Quarterly for management
Essential Skills - Should secure sound interpersonal & communication skills
- Should possess good analytical skills
- Should have excellent report writing skills
- Should be highly proficient in operating MS Office suite
Desirable Skills - Should have the knowledge of Incoterms, Custom HS Codes, Freight Forwarding and custom clearance processes
