The ideal candidate should - Hold at least a Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences
- Should have2 - 4 years of relevant work experience
Job Description - Analyze and understand system requirements by closely working with business stakeholders
- Plan and implement end-to-end high-level, high-availability and reliable design and application architecture
- Perform application upgrades/change requests of varying size and complexity
- Monitor, plan and execute activities for optimal systems resource utilization
- Formulate test plans, test cases and related documentation
- Coordinate with vendors to provide ad hoc resolutions for critical issues
- Display strong comprehension of infrastructure, high availability, operating systems including Unix and Linux
- Handle Oracle databases, performance tuning, Oracle technologies including Oracle RAC, Oracle Golden Gate
Essential Skills - Should be a self motivated, disciplined and proactive individual
- Should be a strong analytical thinker who can work within team-oriented environment
- Should possess strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional correspondences
- Should have a sound knowledge of the OS: Enterprise Unix, Linux, File Systems
- Should have a sound understanding of DB: Oracle database, Administration, Performance Tuning
Desirable Skills - Should possess an understanding of SAN, networking and Systems Integration in Telecom Environment, Clustering, Redundancy and Architecture Frameworks
- Should be highly proficient in Microsoft Visio, Microsoft PMO, MS Excel, Dashboards
