The main duties of the drafter will be to assist with architectural plan design. The right candidate will:
- Utilize 2D and/or 3D CAD to generate detailed drawings that include building dimensions, elevations, sections, required materials, and construction details.
- Consult with co-workers on design and layout.
- Visually communicate concepts, draft/design well, and be very detail oriented
- Draft/design using concrete, steel, masonry, wood, and fiberglass reinforced plastic
- Coordinate Architecture Design with other Professionals via online tools.
Candidate must possess the following skills:
- Strong work ethic, team player, self-starter, problem solving and people skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2010 or later, Photoshop and MS Office programs.
- 2-5 years minimum Drafting CAD experience in Architecture field. Residential and Commercail office space preffered.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and through emails.
- Must be able to provide accurate, detailed drawings under strict timelines and follow directions closely.
- Proficiency in Sketchup is a big Plus.
