Responsibilities

  • Research US federal and state laws/regulations and assess their application/relevance to MTBC’s services/processes.
  • Vet and review various contracts to be used in both jurisdictions i.e. US and Pakistan
  • Carry out research and prepare memoranda on varied legal propositions.
  • Assist senior counsel in the effective prosecution of litigation matters both in the US and Pakistan.
  • Assist senior counsel in the effective handling of legal matters referred from HR and Admin Departments.
  • Prepare policies and impart necessary trainings to employees for ensuring compliance with controlling laws/regulations.
  • Provide assistance in the internal review/audit of policies and procedures applicable to MTBC’s various departments.

Requirements

  • LL.B from a university recognized by HEC.
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent command over written and spoken English.
  • Proven research and analytical skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Fully computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project etc.
