Execute sales strategy in order to achieve assigned institutional sales targets maintaining cordial relationship with existing and new institutions and project a favourable and ethical Company image.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquaint with the Pharma products features being distributed by Company as well as the competing brands, viz., benefits, prices, pack sizes, etc.                                                                                                                                                                              
  • Participate in the sales targeting for the next period, viz., yearly, half yearly, quarterly, monthly and daily basis.                                                                                                                                                                                              
  • Achieve 100% institutional sales targets of assigned territory                                                                                                                                                                                 
  • Evaluate sales target performance, on a regular basis, and ensure achievement of planned results.                                                                                                                                                                                     
  • Review previous periods’ sales performances of various institutions and suggest changes for further improvement according to the market dynamics and trends.                                                                                                                                                                                  
  • Plan daily schedule to visit institutions and keep up-to-date information regarding orders, stock position and payment status.                                                                                                                                                                                              
  • To manage institutions business of assigned area through tenders, quotations, etc                                                                                                                                                                                     
  • Secure appropriate sales orders from assigned institutions as per the Company’s sales plan.                                                                                                                                                                                   
  • Ensure compliance of pre-defined credit policy, as regards private institutions.                                                                                                                                                                                              
  • Responsible for the submission of daily call report according to the sales plan.                                                                                                                                                                               
  • Responsible for the submission of weekly and monthly sales plan, sales deviation, and institutions’ complaint reports, etc.                                                                                                                                                                                      
  • Review the daily sales orders, institution complaints etc. obtained from the market, with the Sales Manager - institution                                                                                                                                                                                         
  • Coordinate the delivery of orders with the depot staff in the institutions and obtain information regarding the undelivered orders to take remedial actions.                                                                                                                                                                                     
  • Responsible to assess market potential of existing as well as new institutions, visit prospective potential institutions, introduce Principals’ products.                                                                                                                                                                                         
  • Perform any other related assignment / duty assigned by the Supervisor / Functional Head.                                                                                                                                                                                   
  • Make a conscious effort to find out work deficiencies and discuss with seniors to find ways to overcome the deficiencies, if any.
