Job Description:
  • Acquaint with the products features being distributed by M&P as well as the competing brands, viz., benefits, prices, pack sizes, etc.
  • Evaluate sales target performance, on a regular basis, and ensure achievement of planned results.
  • Plan daily schedule to visit marketplace as per PJP to make quality calls and keep up-to-date information regarding stock and POS availability at the respective depot.
  • Secure appropriate sales orders from customers, as per their potential, product demand, product movement and Company sales plan.
  • Review and analyze the availability of stock at the designated outlets and effectively carry out merchandising activities, as per the guidelines to improve product display.
  • Participate in the sales target meeting for the next period, viz., quarterly, monthly and daily basis.
  • Review previous periods’ sales performances of various outlets and suggest changes for further improvement according to the market dynamics and trends.
  • Ensure compliance of pre-defined credit policy.
  • Review the daily sales orders, customer complaints etc. obtained from the market, with the Field Manager.
  • Ensure equitable distribution of products in short supply.
  • Upsize himself through Depot Manager / depot staff regarding the undelivered orders to take remedial actions.
  • Responsible for the completion of requisite documentation to address replacement of expired / damaged products as per the Company guidelines / policies.
  • Responsible to assess market potential of existing as well as new outlets, visit prospective potential outlets, introduce Company’s products and apprise of Company’s business policies and stimulate demand.
  • Perform any other related assignment by management.
  • Make a conscious effort to find out areas of improvement and discuss with seniors to find ways to overcome the deficiencies, if any.
  • Highlight self training and development needs, in consultation with immediate supervisor, to improve professional competencies.
  • Learn and apply new knowledge and skills to enhance business results.
