| Job Description: |
|
- Manage all the commercial aspects of rice orders.
- Manage all commercial documentation in compliance with L/C / Firm Contract terms and conditions and International Food laws.
- Plan Logistics and shipment of all export orders.
- Issue shipment notification to the Importer after effecting the shipment.
- Maintain contact with shipping lines/clearing agents to negotiate freight, minimize transit times and to trace in transit shipments.
- Prepare pro-forma invoices in consultation with the line manager.
- Coordinate with NFL bankers for consultation relating to shipments.
- Maintain contact with fumigation, health and sanitary, marine insurance and inspection agencies and arrange legalization of documents as and when needed.
- Process distributor claims, shipment invoices etc., for payment.
- Forward export orders to concerned departments and follow up with production.
- Keep payment outstanding and order status reports.
- Assist BDMs for Data requirements
- Coordinate with Finance for Rice POs.
