| Job Description: |
|
- Installation, configuration and upgrading of oracle server software and related products
- Patch management and control
- Plan growth and changes (Capacity Planning)
- Should be responsible to manage client's development, testing and production environments
- Be responsible for analysis, design, implementation, project management, and maintenance of the logical and physical databases.
- Perform general technical troubleshooting and give consultation to development teams
- Collaborate with the development team in creating and following a well defined methodology to implement changes to database systems
- Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery / DR policies
- Perform database tuning and performance monitoring
- Perform application tuning and performance monitoring
- Report Database issues to higher management
- Predicting future Oracle trends for hardware usage and user load
- Manage data from multiple sources including internal, external, and 3rd party data
- Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support
- Setup and maintain documentation and standards
