| Job Description: |
|
- Assessment of local security conditions, including modalities for reporting information and liaison with local authorities.
- Prepare, operational and implementing NetSol security plan.
- Responsible for aspects related to emergency (security related).
- Responsibilities and duties related to office security. Shall undertake tasks aimed at maximizing the security of NetSol premises at the duty station.
- To keep Management updated about any arising situation which has bearing on staff safety & security,NetSol assets and to seek timely support & guidance for appropriate measures. In addition keep all staff apprised of security updates as the situation demands through established security notifications systems.
- Provide assistance in the conduct and follow up of investigation and reports on the security related incidents affecting NetSol staff and NetSol offices and maintain an accurate and detailed record of all security incidents occurring in the office, including reporting on all security incidents immediately.
- Good communication network among all sectors is required.
- Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of MOSS (Minimum Operational Security Standards of offices, equipment and other areas.
- Provide support in organizing and conducting orientation/ briefing sessions on security issues/awareness and preparedness that include newly assigned staff members. Security orientation briefing is also given to new staff members/ visitors upon arrival at the duty station.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Required SkillsLANGUAGES - Fluency in written and spoken English and Urdu.
COMPETENCIES - Excellent knowledge in security operations and management with a solid background either of police, military or other type of security oriented specialization.
- Specialization in a given area of security management is also an asset (i.e., threat and risk analysis; common crime prevention and response; anti- terrorism; bomb and mine-related expertise; information gathering; electronics security; security communications; etc.).
- The Security Manager should have well developed analytical skills and a good exposure and experience of team management.
