Job Brief:
- We are looking for someone who has experience & passion for designing & front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, Javascript/jQuery) delivering solutions and producing something spectacular. Specific Requirements:
Web & Mobile Design (UI/UX Design)- Take general ideas to work into wireframes, UX flows, and mockups
- Ability to understand a user's needs, behaviors, and desires and translating those into the most intuitive and beautiful UX/UI possible
- Design experience, including creating graphics and wire-framing of web pages.
- Strong talent for visual design, layout, and typography with excellent attention to detail
- Affinity for current industry developments, design trends, and technologies
- A knowledge of UX processes and methodologies a plus
- Ability to react well to design direction from Creative Director and clients
- Proficient to expert in Adobes Creative Suite
- Fluent in cross-browser compatibility, responsive and mobile apps design
- Excellent attention to detail and pixel-perfect results with sensitivity to user-system interaction
Front End Web Development Specific Skills
- Experience skinning (CSS) themes for CMS (Magento, Wordpress, etc.)
- Proficiency in responsive site design
- Knowledge of JavaScript (jQuery)
- Strong knowledge of UI-based technologies HTML5/CSS3 SASS, and basic familiarity with JavaScript & PHP (in case you have to edit your HTML code within PHP)
- Expert in cross-browser compatibility
- Natural problem solver, even if that means searching through Google
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines on various projects at a time
- Thirst for continuing knowledge of current online trends.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in product design, UX/UI design and/or interaction design, with experience in the mobile design space a preference
- Experience in a Front-end web development
- BA/BS Degree in interface design or relevant art/design focus
Tools & Languages
- HTML/HTML 5, CSS/CSS3/SASS , JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap, Foundation CSS, KendoUI
- Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Dreamweaver, CorelDraw
- Hands on experience in KendoUI is a MUST.
