- Preparing, compounding and dispensing drugs and other pharmaceutical supplies.
- Reviewing written prescription for dose, drug interactions and assuring that drug are prescribed and dispensed in proper manner.
- Verifying prescriptions accuracy and validity.
- Explaining directions to patients the usage of drug.
- Maintaining prescription record, Computing and recording prescription charges.
- Maintaining control over distribution and usage of all drugs.
- Maintaining pharmaceutical inventories and storing under proper conditions and security.
- Maintaining strict control over distribution and usage of controlled drugs i.e narcotics and doing proper documentation.
- Providing information to medical personnel on availability and usage of drugs, drug to drug interactions and adverse effects of the drugs.
- Assisting in training students and technicians.
- Checking expiry date and condition of medicines before dispensing.
- Fully Command on MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ERP.
