Job Description:

Orient Electronics (Pvt.) Limited is looking for a tech-savvy energetic Marketing Officer, who has the passion and knack for micro-blogging and creating online presence in a meaningful way. As a social media specialist you will be required to work closely with marketing team to increase our brand awareness on key social sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, YouTube and blogs. Share useful content that generates brand awareness, and connect like-minded individuals in search of Home Appliances.

  • To identify opportunities that will promote brand image on social media sites.
  • Create a comprehensive social media strategy to define programs that use social media marketing techniques to increase visibility, membership and traffic.
  • Measure the effectiveness of social media on the overall marketing efforts of the organization.
  • Establish new and maintain existing social media relationships by proactively engaging in discussions related to our products and brands.
  • Listen to and monitor all social media outlets: pages, sites, blogs, etc. on daily basis and post/respond on particular topics or in response to other posts/comments.
  • Contribute to and regularly update external social sites: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other community sites.
  • Develop content or promotional ideas for these social sites.
  • Recommend new social media tools, sites, and apps as part of the social media mix.
  • Convey a sense of community and build fan following based on valuable content and mutual sharing of knowledge.
  • Use creative means to drive strong engagement and organic growth of all social media properties.
  • Work closely with the Web Development team to ensure that organization is fully leveraging the website for maximum impact/results.
  • Execute social marketing campaigns, including marketing/new concepts, community-building efforts and promotions.
  • Educate the stakeholders across the company on incorporating relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company’s products and services.
