|
Systems Engineer(Reports to Manager MNP/NPC/BDS)- Maintains Mobile Number Portability Clearinghouse (NPC) Systems and Applications
- Performs Daily/Weekly Backups of core applications and restoration at the Disaster Recovery Site
- Monitors and evaluates System Resources consumption and recommends performance optimization strategies
- Develops and implements Systems related Standard Operating Processes/Procedures (SOPs)
- Plans and implements Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity Processes/Procedures
- Plans and implements System Security Processes/Procedures
- Monitors and rectifies Technical Problems & Queries related to Systems and Applications
- Monitors and improve the Alarms & Alerts System for the efficient and timely identification / resolutions of problems
- Coordinates with the Vendors-Support Providers for the timely resolutions of the problems
Experience/Qualifications:- 4-Year Degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline
- 3-4 Years of relevant experience
- Hands-On Experience of System Administration (Linux / Unix Platform) in a Production Environment
- RedHat Certification
- Working knowledge of Shell Scripting
- Preference would be given to candidates with Hands-On Experience of the Oracle Database Administration
- Good communication skills in English: written, oral and presentation
