Introduction:

Pakistan Reading Project (PRP) is implementing Student assessment baseline survey based on EGRA throughout Pakistan. During this activity, students of grade I and grade II will be assessed using EGRA based tools developed by PRP technical team. During this agreement a Enumerator will be engaged with organization for almost 25 no of days to provide following responsibilities during month of April/May 2015.

Requirements:

1. Travel from her/his home town to regional/provincial location to attend 05 days training workshop at Regional/Provincial venue to capacitate herself/himself on Standardized Administration of Student Assessment Tools developed on Early Grade Reading Assessment (EGRA) approach as well as Student Questionnaire, Teacher Questionnaire .

2. Perform a day visit to school for practicing above mentioned tools and questionnaires by assessing grade I and grade II students & teachers during training workshop.

3. Travel to allocated district field and perform necessary coordination with school heads where students and teachers will be assessed for selected schools.

4. Ensure to perform pre-school departure activities as per training before visiting any school.

5. Assess students and teachers of both grades (grade I and grade II) for 12 selected schools. Each day a single school will be visited.

6. Ensure to verify all collected tools, questionnaires after school visit as per verification guidelines.

7. Facilitate Supervisor for the packing and shipment of tools & questionnaires of assessed schools to National office at Islamabad.

Education: Master degree preferred

Experience:

· Experience with administration of EGRA preferred

· Experience with data collecting and monitoring/evaluation activities preferred

· Experience with public and/or private education preferred

· Experience with development project preferred

Fluent in Urdu and English language

The USAID-funded Pakistan Reading Project, implemented by the International Rescue Committee and its partners (Creative Associates International, World Learning, and Institute of Rural Management), is a seven-year project (2013-2020) with the objective to support the provincial and regional departments of education throughout Pakistan to improve reading skills of 1.3 million children in grades one and two. The project will achieve this goal through three distinct but interrelated components that will work in synergy to affect the quality of early grade education: Improved classroom learning environment for reading, Improved policies and systems for reading, and Improved community based support for reading in Pakistan.
