Responsibilities:
- Create enhancements to an existing custom built application using Java and Oracle.
- Develop new custom applications using Java Enterprise platform.
- Participate in development of the work plan for all related projects.
- Assign programming tasks and direct the programming activities of in-house technical staff as it relates to Java development for the application.
- Mentor in-house technical staff in the area of Java coding and troubleshooting best practices.
- Be responsible for creating technical specifications and documentation of all completed user requested enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of IT business application software development experience
- Minimum of 5 years of Java Development with at least 2 years of experience in Java/J2EE Technologies as a Team Lead or Senior Developer
- Strong experience in developing Web based Internet/Internet, Distributed and Multi-Tier architecture Application using Java and J2EE Technologies
- Extensive working experience in J2EE, JSP, Spring, Hibernate, WebServices, REST API, XML, and XML Schema
- Experience working in Linux, Unix is essential
- Strong experience in Apache Tomcat Application Server/web server essential
- Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL & Database technologies with Oracle a plus
- Experience using rich UI javascript based frameworks (AngularJS, Backbone, Sencha, etc.) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- We are looking for a senior Oracle DBA for multiple projects
