Manager-Internal Audit

Candidate should be a native Arabic Speaker.

Key responsibilities:
Ability to undertake the following types of engagement
- Risk-based internal audits;
- Enterprise risk management;
- Corporate governance advisory;
- Cost improvement reviews; and
- Contract compliance reviews.

Key role and responsibilities
- Handle 3-4 engagements at a time
- Manage 2 to 6 subordinates
- Review of files and reports
- Deliver presentations
- Business development - client targeting and sales pitch
- Proposal development
- Develop and roll out in-house training programme for junior staff
- Recruitment assistance – conduct interviews for junior positions

Reporting responsibility
- Partner / Senior Manager (engagement specific)

Candidate’s Performance Manager
- Partner

Staff Mentoring
- Candidate will be performance manager for 4 to 5 people

The Individual:
Minimum qualifications:
- A recognized degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business or related disciplines
- A professional qualification e.g. ICAEW, ACCA, CPA and / or Masters
- CIA and / or CISA qualifications an advantage
Experience:
- 9 - 12 year’s work experience gained in a large audit and /or consulting firm, or a leading commercial organization of which a majority should be in internal audit with at least 3-4 years in managerial position.
Industry sector experience requirements:
- Investment banking, insurance
- Islamic banking knowledge an added advantage
- Multi-country experience an advantage
- Delivery of training programmes (external)
- Delivery of speaking engagements (seminars / conferences) an added advantage

Language requirements:
- Ability to write reports independently with the highest standard of English.
- Good spoken English

Experience : 9-12 yrs post qualification (Preferably Big 4)
