|
Purpose:
- The Administration Officer is responsible to support the smooth functioning and operation of the Program Unit.
- She/he ensures effective and accurate resources management, in accordance with Plans rules guidelines and regulations.
- He/she will ensure that the childrens rights and welfare come first.
What does the job holder plan?
- Plans for the smooth functioning of the Program Unit
- Plans for sharing lessons learnt and best practices in Program Unit administration.
What are the outputs and deliverables?
- Ensure a transparent and complete procurement process according to Plan Policy.
- Participate in bid evaluation.
- Manage equipment and facilities.
- Ensure and monitor cost effective vehicle use.
- Practical arrangements of workshops and other events.
- Maintain an update of Program Unit inventories.
- Maintain leave record of all Program Unit staff
- Shall be the security focal person responsible for providing support for all security related matters

Criteria for Success: Monitoring and evaluation reports that show that:

- At least two years working experience preferably in development organization.
- Experiences of working with partnerships.
- Ability to work with diverse teams and sharing work appropriately.
- Ability to prioritize and manage a varied workload, often to tight deadlines.
- Masters in business administration or related subject.
