Pribno currently has a career opportunity for a "Senior/Lead Java/J2EE developer" with industry experience in software design and development.
Qualified candidates will be proficient in analyzing software requirements and documenting technical specifications, experienced with the full software development life cycle, including design, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
Responsibilities:
- Work on new/existing software products, modules and features.
- Design and code software features that adhere to delivered design requirements
- Perform unit testing of code created.
- Participate in the testing/fix quality assurance cycle
- Correct software deficiencies in existing products, modules. (bugs)
- Lead and collaborate with other developers on feature integration into the overall architecture and larger systems design.
- Lead other less experienced engineers in the design and code of software features that adhere to delivered design requirements
- Review and approve the work of other engineers.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Must have 3 to 9 years development experience in Java/J2EE and spring framework.
- Knowledge of, and experience applying, object oriented architecture, design and programming concepts
- Knowledge of, and experience applying, n-tier application architecture and development methodologies
- Working Experience with SQL database programming concepts, including database architecture, query optimization, and performance/scalability considerations.
- Comprehensive understanding of relational databases.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments and development frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving.
- Good written and oral communications skill.
- Work effectively as part of the team and have good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform under stress and aggressive deadlines.
Programming Languages, Frameworks, Tools & Technologies:
- Java, J2EE, JSP, JDBC, Spring, Eclipse, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, Ajax, JavaScript, Jquery, MySQL, Tomcat, Design Patterns. Linux / Shell Scripting, Python (preferable but not mandatory)
