Pricemo is seeking a Business Development Manager to market Disney products and to grow this new business strategy of Pricemo.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for influencing brand and consumer strategies across the Company in order to maximize the distribution of Walt Disney products and establish customer relationships for the short and long term. Main responsibilities will include Brand Management, Brand Development, Franchise Management, and Customer Relationship Management. The role of Brand Management is a critical one to ensure the company establishes a strong brand and focused on achieving business growth.
Specifically, Brand Management:
- Identifies strategic issues of our brands and customers to guide business strategy and product development
- Nurtures consumer-driven business development
- Provides consultation and approvals for branded content, product and marketing activities
- Acts as a centre of excellence on brand and marketing strategy
Reporting to the Director of Pricemo, the Manager will provide input to the development of strategies and business plans, and manage projects based on those strategies, namely:
- Provide ongoing brand management guidance and business counsel for divisional product and marketing initiatives
- Create and present brand vision and various training presentations to employees of Pricemo and outside partners as required.
- Develop and maintain Disney Consumer products with 3rd parties across the major cities (Islamabad, Lahore & Karachi).
- Proactively identify and develop brand & franchise with potential distributors, wholesalers and retailers including e-retail to help Pricemo maximize opportunities in accordance with Disney brand values and franchise strategies while protecting the brand from any potential risks.
- Establish objectives and detailed work-plans to resolve complex business matters, including performing competitive/category analysis and the development of strategic recommendations based on findings
- Overall day-to-day management of the quarterly management information in Pakistan, including management and reporting of financial results and future forecasts of performance based on current strategies, data analysis and presentation of results.
- Develop pricing and marketing strategies with potential customers to market products and create business plans.
- Identify customer and market research to help develop strategic direction of Pricemo in Pakistan.
- 5-7 years of experience in a consumer marketing capacity, likely from business development plans, advertising, consulting, marketing research, and/or 2-3 years post MBA
- Strong functional or operating experience
- Experience developing and/or using marketing research is preferred
- General management aptitude
- Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of business and a passion for consumer marketing and brands
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, ability to work in a team environment as well as independently, and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
- Experience with database analysis (SPSS, Excel, etc) helpful
- Management Consultant experience from recognized leading consultancy, strongly preferred
- MBA from a top-tier business school
- Masters Degree
