|
Job Description Responsibilities: - Provide System QA,SQL, Java, Linux, and Production support on financial software projects
- Assist with testing of application, configuration and database changes, and installation of upgrades and patches
- Work with software and network engineers to ensure the demands of the applications are supported at the OS, software, network, and data storage levels
- Provide technical support for financial software packages in systems integration testing and production environments
- Support tasks include monthly executions, general escalation, client coordination, support and server and application monitoring
Minimum Professional and Technical Skills:
- 1-3 years of related industry experience with background in software development, technology implementation and production support activities
- Experience with Java, J2EE, SQL, Oracle, MySQL, UNIX/Linux Operating Systems
- Experience with Cloud Computing and or Amazon Web Services a big plus
- Must demonstrate practical experiences with Relational Databases, Unix, and Java n-tier web development concepts and tools
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of the systems development life cycle and object-oriented software methodologies
- Strong communication and co-ordination skills. Able to articulate verbally and in writing status and root cause of any issues.
