The ideal candidate should

• Hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Masters will be give preference
• Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience

Job Description

• Administer and troubleshoot Unix/Solaris/Linux/AIX
• Script on Shell/Perl for Solaris/AIX
• Develop VB .NET, ASP .NET & MS SQL
• Administer Oracle SUN, IBM, HP Midrange/high end servers
• Develop Java/.NET on AIX/Solaris platforms
• Administer Database of Oracle, DB2, Informix, Sybase
• Perform System Administration of all HW/SW deployed in Mobilink NOC; which includes SUN/IBM/HP Servers on Solaris, Linux, AIX, HP-UX OS
• Perform regular health checks and generate reports accordingly for management
• Provide Level-1 troubleshooting for HW/Application issues in Multivendor environment
• Coordinate with vendors to escalate L-2 issues and follow up/coordination for resolution
• Develop scripts/programs as per requirement to automate administration tasks and report generations

Essential Skills

• Should have excellent knowledge of Solaris/Unix/AIX administration, Perl/Shell scripting, IBM Tivoli Netcool Suite, CISCO IP Network Administration and DB Administration (Oracle, DB2, Informix, SQL etc)
• Experience on Huawei, Alcatel, Motorola, ZTE telecom BSS applications will be preferred

Desirable Skills

• Should be highly proficient in operating MS Office Suite
• Should have the know how of Software Programming (JAVA, C++, .net)
• Should have some knowledge about GSM Network Architecture
