Job Description:
  • Responsible to ensure the effective implementation of all nutrition activities in all operational districts, including, infant and young child feeding treatment of acute malnutrition in CMAM (inpatient and outpatient).
  • Manage and implement the strategies envisaged in all vertical programs in the districts.
  • Deliver trainings and technical support district level staff. Narrative and statistical reports compiling and analyses.
  • Monitoring of field activities, field visits and assists SNC.
 
Skills Required
Candidate must be proficient and resourceful enough to fill most customer requirements like:
 
Masters in Nutrition or Public Health or Med Doctor with Nutrition experience.

Demonstrated 4 to 5 years of overall experience; and a minimum of 3 years of specific development sector experience

Experience in Blanket feeding, infant and young child feeding promotion, CMAM, Community mobilization.

Excellent Project management and report writing skills, Computer literate Word, Excel, Outlook

Experience of working with malnourished population specially children and pregnant / lactating mothers.

Good oral and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to work in insecure environments

Ability and willingness to travel
