Required Skills:

* We need web developer with experience in Magento/PHP/SQL/AJAX/XML/SOAP/API/ASP

* Experience working with complex e-commerce platforms and in particular Magento - both integrating skins and developing custom extensions

* Experienced with Object Oriented PHP5 to create reusable, scalable and maintainable code

* Compose strict HTML/XHTML and CSS conforming to current standards and semantics with a good knowledge of accessibility techniques

* Experience with relational database design and practical implementation of MySQL 5 database systems - including security considerations and optimisation techniques

* Experience in creating modular JavaScript code with jQuery/Prototype and utilising AJAX / XML / SOAP / API consuming web services.

* Familiar with source control principles and comfortable with Subversion.

* Ability to work in a team environment where co-operation between developers is essential. However also able to work under your own initiative on individual projects.

* Good time management skills.

* Reporting to project manager any risks or possible delays

Bonus Skills:

* Experience working within an Agile development environment

* Any unit testing knowledge / experience (TDD) would be advantageous, but not essential

* Ideally, applicants should also be aware of and know how to cater for SEO issues which need to be considered as part of web development at Fluid Creativity.

Experience:

* 2+ years working with the Magento platform and any exposure to Magento Enterprise Edition will be beneficial but not essential.

* Commercial experience of experience working in a design agency environment.
