Job Description:

The person will be required to:

  • Ensure maximum network & service availability through proactive maintenance/monitoring
  • Perform RF planning, deployment, and troubleshooting
  • Provide customer-facing 2nd and 3rd line support for satellite equipment, legacy remote wireless, and in-house operations support systems
  • Provide support services for service design, transition, and operations
  • Frequently update the management of the Hub and Network status
  • Test new, repaired and dismantled hardware
 
Skills Required
Candidate must be proficient and resourceful enough to fill most customer requirements like:
 
2 3 years working experience in RF/Satellite Networks
Excellent knowledge of Satellite Access Technology and Earth-Station Components
Working Experience on iDirect HUB Systems Chassis, Protocol Processor, NMS, Line-Cards etc.
Working Experience on iDirect Remote Terminals iNFINITI, Evolution X3 etc
Working experience on VSAT SCPC Products; indoor/outdoor
Technical working experience on various RF networks i.e. terrestrial P2P, P2MP broadband networks, Microwave backhaul links, 2G & 3G cellular networks, WiMAX & Wi-Fi networks
Strong concepts of Data Communications and Networks

**CCNA Certification is an added advantage
