Job Description:

  • System administration of production solaris/Linux servers.

  • Perform security audits to ensure compliance.

  • Review performance/resource utilization graphs for all production systems and provide recommendations to management for doing capacity planning.

  • Perform monitoring of IT infrastructure which includes production servers, network devices, network paths, connectivity, storage, voice quality/paths and take appropriate notification, troubleshooting and follow-up until issue is fixed.

  • Keep i2c mailing infrastructure up and running.

  • Keep i2c authentication infrastructure up and running.

  • Keep track of SSL certificates, their renewal before expiry and update all systems for new certificates.

  • Interface within OPS, engineering, PMO and CS management as well as external customers and vendors on project/operational matters.
 
Skills Required
Candidate must be proficient and resourceful enough to fill most customer requirements like:
 
- Experience with multi-tiered, remote, large scale solaris/Linux deployments and systems administration.
- Email, LDAP, instant messaging deployment.
- Patch management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
