Reporting to the HOD, this key leadership role is responsible for managing and coordinating the resources and processes to deliver software releases of NetSol products, while helping to define the vision, definition and strategy for the development team by driving project initiatives that deliver on the NetSol vision. Job Responsibilities: • Work together with team leads to plan and execute projects, ensure that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines. • Track and report the status of projects on various teams, acting as a gateway through which work should be assigned to appropriate teams while ensuring that project scope is adequately defined • Demonstrate leadership abilities to our commercial and government clients with the deployment of software enhancements and fixes that are coordinated based on release schedules. • Demonstrate a software plan that meets the future needs of our commercial and government clients on technical challenges of industry demands. • Serve as the technical lead in all client meetings which have implemented NetSol products. • Evolve the existing software system applications and architecture in various areas as needed. • Helping developers resolve problems both technical as well as human resources issues , tracking and approving vacation and personal days for employees within their teams and monitoring individual employees’ performance and relaying this to upper management. • Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development. |

| Candidate must be proficient and resourceful enough to fill most customer requirements like: |
| Preferred Masters degree/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Minimum of 10 years of management/ leadership experience in a software development organization required. Must have at least 6 years experience working through the design, development, release cycle delivering software to market. Disk encryption software development and/ or related software experience with a large project strongly preferred. Large/ enterprise application development experience preferred. Strong understanding of the software development cycle. Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem solving skills. Experience in computer programming using Java, .net or other web application frameworks. Project management experience desired. Be able to excel in idea generation, evaluation, and prioritization, customer and partner engagement, cross-functional technical program management and building/ developing great engineering teams. Experience solving complex and large-scare software problems. Experience in the development of software and hard work ware recovery automation tools a strong plus. A record successful delivery of software systems as an individual, team leader and or/ development manager. A willingness to dive into software environments and technical issues as part of maintaining the skills necessary to manage and advocate products and projects. An entrepreneurial spirit with strong product and program management skills. Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done. Excellent written and oral communication. |
