| Job Description: |
|
- Recovery Program and donor procurement rules;
- Prepare detailed solicitation documents including Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations(RFQs) and Bill of Requirement;
- Analyze proposals/bids against specifications and RFP/RFQs by technical evaluations, cost analysis and other terms and conditions with the support of procurement committee;
- Prepare and issue purchase orders/contracts for acquisition of goods & services after negotiation of contractual terms and conditions with the contractors;
- Conduct regular follow-up with vendors and contractors for timely delivery and installation of procured goods in accordance with the contract terms and conditions;
- Provide assistance in submission of documents to Finance department for payment to suppliers/contractors after reviewing invoices and other administrative and technical checks;
- Maintain a list of reputable vendors and suppliers of goods and services for future reference;
- Maintain records and documents of all procurements;
- Provide assistance for timely procurement of office supplies;
- Ensure effective import, storage and distribution of supplies ordered by program teams;
- Adhere to all Save the Children – Emergency Response & Recovery Program rules ®ulations from Invitation to Tender up to delivery of goods to field warehouses;
- Coordinate with field officer for timely delivery of procured goods & issuance of Goods Received Notes (GRNs);
- Assist in updating procurement tracker regularly;
- Meet deadlines of assigned tasks ensuring quality procurement compliance;
- Perform any other task as and when assigned by the department;

| Candidate must be proficient and resourceful enough to fill most customer requirements like: |
| |
Graduate/BBA preferably in Administration
Demonstrated 2 to 3 years of overall experience; and a minimum 1 year of specific development sector experience
Willingness and ability to change work practices and hours with incoming surge teams and in the event of and emergency
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Excellent negotiation skills
Computer literacy with strong knowledge of MS Officer
Fluent spoken and written English
Ability to work independently to a high professional standard
A service-oriented attitude
Sensitive to the cultural and political environment
Knowledge of Pakistan and respective region
