The Senior Java Web/Android Developer functions as an individual contributor and as a mentor for other team members. Some of the job duties include:
* Analyze requirements and develop applications in accordance with specifications and design documents.
* Developing applications according to best practices
* Contributing to the development of internal tools and collaborating on process enhancements to increase the effectiveness of Development team.
* Code reviews for other development team members
* Work closely with our business managers, designers, project managers, and QA team to actualize the application requirements.
 
Skills Required
Candidate must be proficient and resourceful enough to fill most customer requirements like:
 
General Requirements

* BS/MS from a reputed institution.
* 2+ year of professional experience.
* A high task load is expected. You should be able to manage and juggle multiple tasks while exhibiting exemplary time management and task prioritization.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapid development cycles.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction with teammates.
* Ability to work with minimal to no supervision.
* Should be hardworking and willing to accept challenges.

Technical Requirements
* Expert knowledge of JSP, Java and other J2EE based technologies.
* Solid understanding of OOP, XML, SQL
* Hands on experience with relational database design and development is a must.
* Hands on working experience in Struts/Spring.
* Good business analytical skills combined with the ability to get things done and meet deadlines.
* Working knowledge of JQuery, AJAX, Prototype, Visio will be a Plus.
* Good to have knowledge and experience of Open Source software integration.
* Good to have working knowledge of any one or all of these PHP, MySQL, ASP.NET.
