· Evaluate Student skill and knowledge, in the related subject, based on their learning in the junior classes. Ensure that students are at the required level to begin a more detailed and varied learning in the subject

· Plan, prepare and deliver instructional material that facilitates student learning

· Researching new topic areas, maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge to supplement the prescribed curriculum wherever required

· Marking work, giving appropriate feedback and maintaining records of pupils' progress and development

· Selecting and using a range of different learning resources and equipment;

· Preparing pupils for external examinations by guiding them through the external examination process and procedure, guidelines for preparation based on past examination papers, external grading system and benchmarks

· Devise and implement an internal examination system which is in line with the external examination system to actively prepare students for desired grades

· Compile the monthly / quarterly and yearly reports by collecting the grades and progress reports from all other subject teachers.

· Managing student behavior in the classroom and on school premises, and applying appropriate and effective measures, in cases of misbehavior
